Our Sourcing

From the gardensto your cup.

Three regions. One unwavering standard. Every leaf and pod that becomes Dholagiri tea begins its journey in places we have come to know by heart.

Origins:
Mist-laden tea gardens of Assam along the Brahmaputra valley
Brahmaputra Valley · Two leaves and a bud
01Assam, Northeast India

Assam. If strength is your weakness, Assam is your cuppa.

Harvested: March to October

The mist-kissed gardens of Assam, watered by the Brahmaputra, produce teas with a deep malty richness and vibrant golden liquor. Strong, brisk, and unmistakably bold — Assam is the cup that built India's chai culture, and the backbone of our range.

Our Process

From garden,to your cup.

Four steps separate the leaf in a distant garden from the cup in your hand. We've refined each one over fifty years.

  1. 01

    Sourced

We visit the gardens, taste samples, and select only the lots that meet our standard. Every batch begins with a decision made by hand, not algorithm.

  2. 02

    Tasted

Hundreds of samples are evaluated each year by our tea masters. Strength, aroma, body, finish — every parameter judged before approval.

  3. 03

    Blended

Approved lots are blended in proportions perfected over five decades. Goldline, Sadabahar, Elaichi — each recipe holding the same character year after year.

  4. 04

    Packed Fresh

Hygienic, modern packing locks in aroma the moment blending is complete. The cup that reaches you tastes exactly the way it left our floor.

“The shortcuts are everywhere in the tea industry. We've simply never been interested in any of them.”
